About our funders:
Central Salford URC
Central Salford URC is supported by Salford City Council, Northwest Regional Development Agency and English Partnerships and is working with the private and public sectors to make Central Salford Beautiful, Vibrant and Prosperous.
Using private investment, Central Salford is working with its partners to develop strategies that will not only transform the city’s look, but also enable its people to capitalise on the opportunites.
A programme of work to restore the City to its former glory will see it reconnecting communities, exploiting neglected assets such as the underused green spaces and waterways, inspiring confidence in investors, creating an environment that is attractive to knowledge and innovation-based enterprises, and boosting the quality of life for existing residents. Central Salford is committed to putting Salfordians at the forefront of driving their city forward.

As part of this success we've developed into a dynamic and cosmopolitan institution with a first-class reputation for real-world teaching and ground breaking research. What's more, our historic tradition of innovative thinking and commercial success means we're widely regarded as one of the UK's most enterprising universities.
Combine this with our location, record for employability, system of student support and top-rated teaching and you get a very special university.
