Fair Share Trust

The Fair Share Trust programme is designed to support specific local communities (Fair Share neighbourhoods) who may have missed out on Lottery funding in the past. The programme aims to increase capacity and sustainability, build social capital and improve livability. Fair Share Trust is managed by the Community Foundation Network and administered by local grant-making bodies (these are primarily Community Foundations). These grant making bodies work with panels of local residents and other advisers to set local priorities. Grants of between £5,000 and £250,000 are available to a wide range of organisations, for projects that meet at least one of the local priorities.
