Media Trust puts £1.2m on offer for youth media projects

Communication charity the Media Trust, will launch a £1.2m fund offering grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 to small charities to run youthled media projects. Mediabox, a Department for Children, Schools and Families fund run by the Media Trust, runs a series of projects encouraging disadvantaged 13 to 19 yearolds to produce creative media projects.
The fund's new Mini Mediabox programme, a strand of Mediabox, will be available to grassroots and community youth organisations that help young people to communicate through print, TV, film, radio and online.
