A New Deal for Everyone
COMMUNITY HUB MANAGER – ST SEBASTIAN’S COMMUNITY CENTRE
PAY SCALE UP TO £28,500 (initial contract until March 2011)
These are interesting times for Charlestown and Lower Kersal.
Community facilities have started to develop services to meet the needs of the local community. However there is still work to be done. The area has a strong and well-defined sense of community and there is real commitment to see community facilities and social enterprise across the area continue and grow.
This is an opportunity for some one to manage St Sebastian’s Community Centre, ensuring the smooth running of the centre and the operations undertaken within. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the growing success and sustainability of the centre, including responsibility for overseeing:
•Development of a community hub approach, with a number of partner organisations
•Development of a community cafe
•Development of business opportunities for the sustainability of the centre
•Development of a programme of activities and services to meet the needs of the local community
We are now looking for an individual with the skills to help this facility implement their action plans and support social enterprise development activities.
Would you like to support the management committee in developing a community facility in the area?
If so, we are looking for a creative and committed individual with a solid background in supporting the development of community facilities and social enterprises to ensure long term sustainability. With our focus on regeneration and change there is no better place to develop your career.
